At least science is testable. If i say i can fly by flapping my arms and running into the wind, i have to prove it before anyone would believe me. But if you say you're headed for eternal bliss and that we're created because it says so in a book, well that's a whole different standard of proof, isn't it? Besides the Bible says we'll all be returning to dust just like the animals. It also says you are vain to think otherwise. Or do you also agree that the Bible is not the word of God? From Ecclesiastes 3: For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
