i liked tim, he made some nice calls during the bull and he had an entertainingly cantankerous personality...but he also made one of the worst calls i've ever seen: to load up on COMS before/after the PALM spinoff. he absolutely pegged the top of the bubble.

do you think it could have been that simple? It seems to me traders get hardened to being on the wrong side of a trade from time to time. Its hard to believe this is the first really bad call he ever made? And using a plastic gun in a robbery,wow... seems like a bit of a mental illness/desperation going on there... creating a crime situation with a plastic gun
