Any idea why everybody else was able to get rid of slavery peacefully, but the U.S. had to go to war over the issue? Any idea why Jews still practice slavery in Israel? Tom

lorne, I know that you are on a mission of anti-Islam. It is OK on this thread to express your anti-Islamic thoughts. But let us ensure that spreading this anti-Islamic hate does not start to mirror the anti-West hate of Al-Qaeda. The only way you can separate the God fearing Islam followers from those of the Islamists who have hijacked the religion, is by standing by their side and not hurting their feelings while they have to take a pounding because of the actions of the Islamists. Your posts come across as hatred towards Islam and does not assist in any way the war against terrorism. We need to fight and win against the terrorists and not against Islam. But rest assured that you will not be barred from posting on this thread for your posts.
