Nothing like getting our daily dose of "pending doom", while Nortel rises 20%. Emotions are extremely hard to control. For those that have trouble sorting out what to do today, because of the threat of pending doom "tomorrow" I suggest you don't read nicholas's predictions.

DTing looks at what is going to happen today, and not what is going to happen to the overall market. I got sucked into the doom & gloom earlier this year, and piled into Gold.....way to early! At some points I was down very heavily as a result of pursuing the "futures" doom and gloom.

Swami was one of the few that chose to dismiss the theories and just trade. That is why he has done better than all of us during the same period.

A lesson learned for me, well done Swami!
