yes about like "clockwork orange". Just read on the Bloomberg TV wire news . Andy Grove says timing of chips recovery is unknown". Now if the idiot speculators in chips don't respond to the words of Andy Grove they be stupid beyond the realm of help. I guess these "i am determined to lose all my money: types will say "well, wow!, unknown, gees then it could be tomorrow!! I am going to mortgage the house now and average down more on my chip stocks."
If Andy Grove, the Andy Grove, says unknown, it means " as far as we look into the future we see NO signs of recovery, we have NO perceivable indication of recovery, thus UNKNOWN as to when there will be a recovery."
Now this should precipitate a strong sell-off in SOXX, but that requires, however, that those buying SOXX actually are NOT just addicted gamblers seeking punishment and self destruction of themselves and their families. Max
