Enron to Launch Porn Venture
(2002-12-09) -- Wall Street insiders say that Enron plans to launch a pornography venture early next year. The new company will distribute hardcore pornography via the Internet, television, magazines and other media.

"After the tough year Enron has had, they wanted to get into something safer, with higher profits," said one market analyst. "Of course the major benefit is that it seems to be legal since AT&T, MCI, GM's DirecTV, Hilton, Marriott, Sheraton, Radisson, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, AOL Time Warner, Comcast and other respected businesses make millions annually from distributing hardcore porn."

An Arthur Anderson consultant hired to help set up the new division, said, "Enron has engaged in shameful financial dealings in the past. They're hoping this new, socially-acceptable business will help cleanse their image."
