I was just talking to a friend of mine who works for a contract manufacturer. He was relating to me just how bad things were in his biz. They have three divisions; electronics, medical, automotive. All of the divisions are hurting, but apparently the medical and automotive divisions are hemoraging cash. Says that the company will have to do major layoffs to stay afloat. Boy, I bet Ole Easy is gonna be thrilled when all of those consumers out there go BK cuz they were encouraged to spend using those low interest rates and then they get laid off and can't pay their bills. The real issue is the economic damage that the fed has induced with its money policy.

OR, Did you see the piece on Japan on CNBS this morning? If the govt. backs off from their support of the failed/failing businesses, a million people will be out of the workforce and a trillion dollars in debt gets written off, 24% of their GDP.

YIKES!
