Koll, Buy this book store.yahoo.com , it helped me immensely when I was trying to learn this stuff. Its one investment that I can _guarantee will bring you extremely high returns.

BTW, Pennwell is a great publisher on Energy stuff -- I see they already have a book out now titled "Terrorism & Oil".

Great to hear you're on board Starship ATP here, didn't know what to think previously.

As to my agenda, just in case it isn't already obvious, my agenda is to HYPE THE HELL OUTTA THESE CRAPPY, THINLY TRADED POS'S THAT I BUY, SO AS TO CREATE THE OTHER SIDE OF MY TRADE! The _aggregate volume of my two biggest positions (CPE and ATPG) today was something like 7,000 shares!

Let's see, where were we. Oh yeah, proved reserves of the UK stuff. These are provided in the PR of 4/2/02, at ir.thomsonfn.com

Helvellyn, which is the UK '02 project is shown as having 23 BCFE of reserves. That figure seems mighty conservative to me given that they got a local company to fork over $17 M for only half of those reserves.

K-man,

A few posts back there was a relatively long tout on RRC, one of your favorites. The story said it sells at 2 x cash flow, the daily chart is more bullish (short term) than the weekly, and it looks like it's still losing money. Your opinion?

Interesting daily sticks on EP, with the lousy volume I don't think it's forming a very solid base here.

stockcharts.com

Whatever EP does in terms of finding a bottom and reversing could take several more weeks, or longer. Before that, given the stock chart (down from $73, $43, $12) and the holiday tax selling season, I would guess we've still got a better than even chance to plunge below $5?? BWDIK? Where is this thing on the dividend calendar? (I forget).
