you're still doing the right thing IMO

I'm not speaking of being "right" by going long; by "right" I mean you're remaining flexible for ST trades. Otherwise, if one is waiting for trend synchronization, one would end up missing too many trades by waiting.

One also has to remember that trend changes must start somewhere, and since we never know how long a trend will last, that trade one enters now could very well be at the beginning of a trend that lasts longer than one originally thinks (regardless of chart patterns, E-wave, and other TA).

I would also note that a we are flagging right below that channel, I think that could continue for a couple more days. Hard to go long in the face of this. I am having a hard time seeing a holiday rally developing given the technicals.

I would watch max pain. Volume is so weak, this market could be moved wherever they want it. If we stray too far away, I will fade it.
