I think alot of things changed over the last few years, especially 2002.. Many people got whiped out, or close to it.. Folks like myself became less involved with s/i and the cyberworld and like everything else you lose contact and life moves on. I never met Tim, and although a few of us joked about getting drinks and meeting up or having a 'get together' its just like everything else in life- procrastination etc etc..

I still have a certain bit of hesitation about all of this and am hoping maybe Tim surprises us and it turns out to be a bizarre coincidence or joke.. wishful thinking at this point, but..

You are right tho.. 6 months before it surfaced sure seems odd.. Especially with dogs nipping at his heels like Auric and such- these guys have endless resources, and for this to get past them for all these months is certainly perplexing.

Further examples of what we think we see in cyberspace and what the truth really is.
On the net, Tim was outspoken and a seemingly nice guy.
He was one of the first SI/AOL/Prodigy/Compuserve members with whom I gained respect for due to his less than passive investing in UVEW, then CRTM in 1996. An unscrupulous outfit under either symbol
He went to the company's booth at the CETA show and reported back real-time via the net. A novelty at that time.
My thoughts on him as gun-wielding criminal are likely shared by most.
