But the pictures were not shown at the UN on October 22... but 25 or 26 (if I remember well) Kennedy waited, even though half the planet believed the US had no evidence and marched the streets, attacking US embassies in a few countries. And breaking the truth was only revealing photo qualities of U2 (and Celestron 12 cm diameter telescope, (I think). That was not a big intelligence jeopardy compared to would be defectors still inside Irak. And that was my point.
