I agree you can't prove a negative. But you don't need proof to reasonably conclude something doesn't exist.

Take alien abductions. Lots of people claim to have been abducted, many more believe in alien abductions.

It's impossible to prove they're not happening.

So do you believe in alien abductions? Or do you conclude they aren't happening - that they don't exist?

Which brings us back to God being absurd and meaningless.
