I think there will be converts during the tribulation. I just wonder who's going to preach to them? Warn them against the mark of the beast. If Jesus's own disciples weren't spared why would Jesus take us out before our job is done? We have the great commission. Jesus did not spare Himself either. The pre-trib rapture theory sure is comforting though. That'll keep the church pews fuller than a message of hard times are coming. Us comfortable Americans don't want to hear that!! They'd find a more "comfortable" church and since the pastors are always counting........It'd be ok with me if I was wrong though.

'For first time in history, Europe will become one'

COPENHAGEN A half-century after the Cold War divided the Continent in two, negotiators reached a deal Friday to unite Western and Central Europe, creating a single market of 450 million people. European Union officials achieved a last-minute breakthrough by sweetening the financial terms for Poland and several of the nine other candidates now invited to join the Union in May 2004.

"Accession of 10 new member states will bring an end to the divisions in Europe," said Romano Prodi, president of the European Commission. "For the first time in history, Europe will become one because unification is the free will of its people."
