Q4 Dec Earnings out Today - 1-22-03 LSI guides lower for next quarter but sees "substantial" upturn in Q2. 4:06PM LSI Logic matches EPS estimate, revs light (LSI) 5.90 +0.09: Reports Q4 (Dec) earnings of $0.01 per share, in line with the Multex consensus of $0.01; revenues rose 18.2% year/year to $479.7 mln vs the $485.6 mln consensus. 4:53PM LSI Logic issues Q1 guidance well below consensus (LSI) 5.90 +0.09: -- Update -- As a result of the lower Q4 order-input rate, co projects a Q1 loss of $0.18-$0.20 on $370-$390 mln in revs (consensus is for a gain of $0.02 on $486.8 mln in revs). "Entering 2003, our outlook is for the first quarter to be the low point for revenues, and for the second quarter to be up substantially." =========================================================== I guess it will be time to load up in the next 90 days.
