i probably should have explained a bit better--i understand about the miners being leveraged to the price of gold according to their costs, but in terms of putting a portfolio together, it is more difficult for me to come up with a ratio. if one has a satisfactory way to hold bullion, what should be the ratio between bullion and miners? so far, i haven't really felt i had a satisfactory way to hold bullion so i haven't worried too much about this, but if a bullion ETF comes into existence, i'll need a better answer.
