IMO tomorrow's action will be critical to confirm (or not) that we really have had the long-awaited breakout. As of today's COMEX close, I don't think we're quite there yet. e.g.,

- Feb Gold (the most liquid futures): Contract High (last June)... $333.70; Today's High... $333.50
- London PM Gold Fix: Last June's High... $328.40; Today's Fix... $326.40

So neither of these had officially broken out by the close.

The action in London tomorrow will be interesting to watch, to see if they can drive down the price overnight to be able to do the PM Fix below $328.40. If they can, I think we'll have to wait till next week to confirm the breakout. If not, it should be off to the races!
