The Administration leaks a "story" to the Post -- a story which is likely to be without serious foundation -- and then the Adminstration quotes the story as if the story was based on the investigative efforts of the Post while all the while distancing the Administration from the story itself with a bunch of "ifs" and "maybe-this-and-that" -- how original. Provide some facts. Provide a source. Provide some corroboration -- and then lets talk.

To be truthful, the story looks planted. Even people in the pentagon say so:

SENIOR PENTAGON officials told NBC News they have not seen intelligence reports that any terrorist group affiliated with al-Qaida obtained VX or any other nerve agent from Iraq.
The officials, both at the most senior level, described the Washington Post report as “highly speculative.”
The Post, citing two officials with first-hand knowledge, reported that U.S. analysts suspect the transfer involved the nerve agent VX and that it was smuggled through Turkey.
