Sorry, tutor, but you shouldn't give Tony any room for wiggle or credit. These were his exact predictions:

One of the biggest one-day dumps in POG. Funny no one says anything to me on days like this. Even funnier will be when POG is back to sub $300 again

long-gone even if the Iraq war began today gold will still not surpass $330 and won't for at least 5 years.

ready for another chance at being wrong?

I wasn't wrong last time was I? In fact I called the correction in POG to within 25 cents and XAU perfectly.

If you had followed the thread you'd understand we were talking about POG going to $340 and I made the comment it wouldn't get to $340 let alone back to $330 again.

Need I go on and prove analysts are mostly liars, crooks, or (at best)simply wrong?

Gold won't see $340 this year. $300 before $340. It'll be lucky to get to even $330 again.

GT...

A check of news articles on today's POG surge attributes it to everything from Iraqi sale of WMD to AlQ to North Korean plans to restart its nuke facility. None of these dealt with the hard drop in the USD which is the most likely cause of the spike up (USD Index dropped 0.7 points by noon, POG rise was simultaneous). For the moment, USD Index governs gold price. USD Index has shown remarkable resilience at 104 so I have to agree that we shouldn't hold our breath waiting for $350 BWTFDIK.

Howerver, once the fed starts up the printing press in earnest - to da moon, baby!

Hugh A.

Got gold.

<<Tony, there IS no breakout until $332-345 is soundly surpassed and becomes new support.
This is a bubblegum zone. Don't be too quick with the congratulations...>>

Now, can we all stand laugh aand point at the (cough cough gag gag vomit) "expert" or will you not join us until 345??
