Yemen, after the outsted of the Imam in 1960 , was financed by the Russians. It is a dirt poor country, with some agriculture in the mountainous region, and just got into some money because of an Oil find.
I happed to visit Hodeida, Taiz and Sanaa, after I worked in Aden for an Austrian Trade show!
With very interesting Architecture and a biblical beauty !
