1870 railroad, 1930 cars/radio, 2000 communication highway

transportation is the common theme in the last three world busts

in 1870, a race ensued to reach the west coast by railroad
profit didnt matter
they abused credit to accomplish their goals
numerous busts occurred
the smartest of the rail builders won the whole enchilada

in 1930, everyone wanted a car
they abused credit to accomplish their goals
communications entered the picture, requiring highways
radio and television exploded on the scene
people discovered the abuse of credit to purchase stocks
all manner of banks were destroyed
numerous busts occurred
the world monetary standard GOLD was shattered

in 2000, everyone wanted broadband, wireless phones
trans-oceanic and trans-continental fiberoptic lines were laid worldwide
cities nationwide were almost all connected via fiberoptic
they still need that last mile connection
wireless towers were laid worldwide, in cities, on highways
long distance telephone connections were way overdone also
the internet exploded on the scene
they abused credit to accomplish their goals
numerous busts occurred

the common theme is transportation (of something)
first in 1870 people and supplies in distribution
then in 1930 people and communication
now in 2000 information, communication

we are about to witness the transportation sector implosion
we have seen the early destruction with airlines
railroads have been a basket case for decades now
FINALLY THE AUTOMOBILE SECTOR IS TO FACE DESTRUCTION

the other distribution-related sector is utilities
delivery of natgas, electricity
ask Calif Gov GrayMatterNone Davis if utilities are in trouble
the utility sector is facing near extinction now

what next?
the Federal Govt will purchase cars for us?
nothing would surprise me
in spring 2003, we have a nasty United Auto Worker strike coming
I expect several national airlines to become nationalized
I expect both large car mfrs to become nationalized
then they all will have their losses monetized
ALL FOR THE GREATER GOOD

the Austrian Gold Revenge is soon to strike
an accelerated money supply and debt extension must be accomplished, just to maintain the current level of economic activity !!!
