Of course there is a spin. Could Tim be an ass? Yes. Did he have a life filled with pain long before this incident? Yes. Was he fragile long before this incident? Yes. Did some people recognize it? Yes. Did some people try to help? Yes. Does it look like he committed a crime? Yes. Would he have gone to jail for a long time if he had not died? Probably. However, your spin was that he took a plastic gun in order to reduce his sentence if caught. That is speculation on your part and may or may not be part of the equation. That is YOUR spin.
