The move in gold should suggest that stocks want to go DOWN.
But if everone holding for fear of missing huge year end rally, then there is no selling pressure.

So we sit.
Above QQQ 26 I will buy March 28 puts.
Otherwise I sit.
Bought some today and only got a dime.
Thought we had a decent chance to pull back to 892 or even lower but it did not happen.
