This is very good news for the IPP group. They should move strongly tomorrow. WMB has their settlement go hard with Calif. on Sunday. Monday should be another burner. Something like 20 million shorts in WMB alone. Gas is at $5+ and WMB = NG bigtime.

After hours MIR, WMB up nicely.

Gray Davis is asking Bush to "do the right thing". Ha! Now who did California go for in the last election?

Gray has some major 'spalining' to do to the voters.

Jimbobwae:

"Energy companies overcharged California by $1.8 billion during the state's power crisis, a federal regulatory judge said Thursday. The amount is far short of what the state is seeking."

RRI up 12%, AES up over 20%, EP up 6%, WMB up 7.5%.
