More on the ruling. Here's a breakdown of the recommended refunds to the state. Anyone know the amounts of each company's receivables this will be offset against? Would be good to know the boost to liquidity that would come from final payment. Also of interest would be the amounts each company has reserved for this contingent liability.

I'll dig through MIR's filings and report back. Ya'll pick one, too.

According to a preliminary breakdown by Birchman of refund amounts owed the state's wholesale market operator, Williams Cos. owes $192 million; Dynegy owes $177 million; BC Hydro Power Exchange owes $134 million; Mirant owes $86 million; Duke owes $72 million; and Reliant Resources owes $69 million.

All of those amounts, however, will be subtracted from larger sums still owed the suppliers. About $3 billion hasn't been distributed to suppliers by the state market operator, meaning that after refunds generators are owed $1.2 billion, the opinion said.
