Last week, I was hiking in a place where there were so many coyote tracks on the trails that you'd think you were walking through Coyote City. Only one other set of human tracks in the place besides my own. There are a lot of coyote around here, and also some wolf packs in the large parks.

If you call to them they call back. Like baroooooo. I have never understood that but it is fun.
