I was appalled at the deal Lott made when Jeffords switched parties. Totally ignoring the shabby way the dems treated the repubs over the years. The dems started the disproportunate treatment and I would like to see them have to live on the bad end of it for once. I think Lott is stuck in the old genteel days when Senators treated one another as gentlemen would. It looked like he was wavering again on committee composition and funding and I at least see an opportunity to get someone as majority leader who will give tit for tat. (or was that Fannie Fox?)
