the Palestinian-Arab argument about their rights to the land, about the Jews being newcomers and usurpers, and about justice to the indigenous population, are ill founded arguments.

Wouldn’t you say that the indigenous population has some right to determine what sort of immigrants they wish to accept? What is so unnatural about a population choosing to accept immigrants that are culturally similar to them, and kicking up a fuss about externally sponsored immigrants who are not only totally dissimilar to them culturally, but who are openly declaring their intention to achieve sovereignty over the entire area? What is so unusual about a colonial power acting to restrict immigration that is causing uncontrollable violence between immigrants and the native population and not acting to restrict immigration that is not?

All of these demographics are fascinating, but their relevance to the issues we’ve been discussing is highly debatable.
