Your "just 9 months" is the BS. All I want is 30 seconds. So I'm afraid the "It's just a little time" argument fails. one knowingly runs the risk of pregnancy Suppose a woman is raped. Is that knowing acceptance of the risk? Do you allow an exception and permit abortion in that case? Suppose the couple are both 14 and the girl gets pregnant. Shall she suffer the consequences the rest of her life? If they go out and commit a murder, there is a good chance their young ages will be taken into account and even if convicted of murder 1 they will be released by age 25. So there shall be clemency for murder but not for lust? You might propose adoption. Suppose that couple is black. Black babies don't adopt well.
