Having slept on it, and hearing Rush citing John McCain's defense of Lott as proof that he is not a racist (LOL, Rush having to rely on McCain), I think Lott should keep his post and campaign actively all over the South in 2004 for GOP candidates.

Explain it to me. As I said if when Bill Clinton made his award to Fulbright, he had said something like "When you signed the Southern Manifesto, it was one of the proudest moments in this Southerner's life" he would have been crucified not only by the Republicans, but by the Democrats first and foremost!
