Ground Zero and Robert B. Furman, Few weeks ago I heard a liberal democrat and conservative republican do battle over the issues of the day. Both were very bright and articulate, and both were connected and empowered by their beliefs. It became so embittered and loud, that it eventually ruined the atmosphere of the entire gathering. Having lived a good part of my earlier life in Washington, DC and having had some exposure to the "power elite"... I developed a certain dislike and disdain for the whole "Kit & Kubutle"... The whole bunch of "Top Performers" are nothing more then fleas on the hide of America. The government functions only because of the career federal workers who span the inaugural gaps. In My Humble Opinion... the combination of secrecy, hidden agenda's and misinformation precludes ever knowing or coming close to knowing the truth on any issue. These "Second Rate Actors" are the ones with a recalcitrant conduct, not the people of this nation with their trusting faith.

It was the Pearl Harbor of this era. It was the one that finally made us mad. But it darn sure wasn't the first shot. Embassies and compounds were destroyed, a bomb failed, a boat was damaged...people died...etc. Our previous leadership dodged a few bullets, ignored others and then lobbed a cruise somewhere in Afghanistan...but, it was hardly the first bullet.
