expect stock & bonds down together ONLY with declining US$
but that doesnt mean a trend wont develop
imagine all the days when the dollar trades down
it could occur later that most down dollar days, bond yields rise
this is what I expect

eventually, the mere daily swings where the clownbuck sells off, might provide a backdrop for foreign departures
whether a daily or a weekly down backdrop, the dual downer effect will be powerful

it still amazes me how really intelligent people dont know shit about the dollar currency difficulties
I have talked personally with about 10-15 people in the last 6 weeks about it
not one of them is even aware !!!
and the USDollar is probably the biggest threat to both the economy and the financial markets (where most of their pension money rests perilously)
not one person I spoke with was aware of Bernanke's watershed speech
and after I mentioned the nature of his speech, they all thought it would be great for the economy to benefit from all that new liquidity
with a couple closer friends, I said "Weimar Amerika"
they just laughed, citing trust in our system

I figure the dollar will be declining in over 50% of the days during the next 18 months
my eyes are on Sinclair's June 2004 target down for crisis
