Iraq certainly is a safe place for women unless you are a female relative of one of Saddam's opposition. Then your chance of being raped is 3-in-3.

Amein M. Alsuezi is a bad joke. He's been a moron from day one here. LOL

"Sure, there's abuse against women in America..."

firstly, my whole point of this thread is to show that there is violence against women EVERYWHERE... where the abused women would rather be, I really don't know, do you ?

secondly, I did not write that article, so, I can not be accused of using flawed arguments...

secondly,
regards
amein

For example, the notion that 1 of every 3 women in America is a rape victim is nowhere close to being accurate. Statistics do vary on this subject but the statistical range from the FBI, the Dept. of Justice, and various support groups such as RAINN (Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network) is between 350,000-700,000 annually. (Note: The discrepancy in your 'evidence' that "most American women are raped" doesn't even agree with your 1-in-3 'statistic'.)

The "350K-700K annual rapes" stat does not refute the "1 in 3 women is a rape victim" stat. That's such obvious lying with statistics, it's almost laughable.
