Yes, Thurmond apparently changed, but Trent Lott still seems to long for the days when N*gg*rs knew their place. Now it appears that it is Karl Rove who is orchestrating Lott's removal, so I would guess it is a done deal by now.

There is such a gigantic difference between forced and voluntary segregation, there almost should be a different word for it.

the most segregated metropolitan areas in America are in the North and Northeast not the South.
