(that point was made by me. is it a vaid excuse for the israelis continuing to do virtually nothing- to continue to permit the constant slaughter of jews) What they have been doing is a tit-for-tat thing or so the Israelis keep on saying is the case; ii) there are far fewer Israelis than all Arabs combined, let alone the Palestinians themselves in Palestine and, in the game of killing by attrition, Jews will be depleted much faster than Arabs. Mind you, Palestinians are not the only Arabs. (i agree. it is absurd for israelis to have permitted this. israel, at the least, should make clear this is not a game, there is no equivalence, there will be no tit for tat, they will not let jews continue to be slaughtered. palestinians must suffer for their killing of jews. at least 10,000 must be killed for each attempted terror attack. the palestinians must be put in a position where they will seek to end the terror. palestinians will run to world to save them. unfortunately, world may stop israel, rather than have the terrorism stop. the world is not very concerned with constant killing of jews by terrorists. this is what palestinians have relied on. also, they must irrevocably lose substantial land for each attempted terrorist action.) iii) in spite of their possession of tactical nukes, the Israelis are afraid to use them because they and the Palestinians are living so near to one another. (Nuke stuff is not "clean" stuff and it is better to use it on the enemy farther afield, if need be.) (i agree.) ---------------- do israelis have an excuse because the anti-semitic u n, muslims and europeans have pressured iraelis not to defend themselves? (this was meant to express excuse for israelis not acting appropriately. i have explained this above.) There are lots of folks who will say the Israelis don't need any excuses at all! Also many believe that Right is Might. The Israelis have had excuses galore! Even if an excuse does not exist, they can easily "contrive" getting one in a jiffy. I suppose you meant getting an excuse to attack the Palestinians. (u misunderstood what i meant by excuse. not excuse for retaliating- but excusre for retaliating so ineffectively) I think it is vital for folks like you to ask why the UN is acting the way it does towards Israel and to figure out ways by which its unfavourable attitude towards Israel could be removed. You should also consider why Israel's efforts to spruce up its image abroad have failed. Why are so many folks disinclined to trust Israel? Can so many non-Israelis worldwide be wrong? If so, why are they wrong? What can be done to turn them around and see the light? <g> Think what can be done about it! (this is a real conundrum. it has to do with anti-semitism. it has to do with votes and oil of arab and muslim bloc. it has to do with failure of u n. it criticizes and acts against israel and not against many countries whict commit atrocities.) It is far better to put on your thinking caps to figure out solutions and to act on them than to habitually flip your lids! <g> and join the rah-rah chorus of condemning the Moslems and reiterating how crazy and dangerous they are! Remember! ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS!!! TALK IS CHEAP! ---------------- (it is time to act. the killing o jews is unacceptable. israel should not let the world insist that jews can be killed with impunity.)
