Aqualung my friend, you have it easy, you are a diver; me, I dont even know which hole to the snorkel (g).

Of course on a river like Colorado or on some gator-infested bayou even this experience is of no help.

Am working on an interesting (?) interview. Will post some time today.

<I am afraid, very afraid, because I remember the writer and what he had to say about tele this and cosmos that, and how the Maurices of this world worshipped him.>

Not so fast there Jay. I have had to correct GG on a couple of occasions. Such as Message 15597115 I think he idolizes me rather than the reverse.

Also, he wrote a screed on Globalstar a year or two before that and got a few things factually incorrect.

I notice in my above link that I had not then accepted that there was going to be such a large scale margin and general debt restructuring and asset selling around the world as has happened and is still happening. I'd always expected quite a big crunch to deflate the irrational exuberance, but didn't realize just how big a crunch it would be.

I still don't see a solid bottom, two years on from the serious drops being already on the books.

Jay, that's sweet; you, me and GG singing the same tune on China. We could hold hands and skip along together to the wonderful world of peace, light, harmony, happiness, prosperity and fun.

But the USA has something up it's sleeve. With Homeland Security and It working together for a decade or so, the USA will remain numero uno.

Google has the flickering beginnings of consciousness now established with their "Zeitgeist" weekly collage of searches. Google has vast memory, instant recall and now consciousness. As non-human inputs and search requirements shift to It's own needs, the human component of It's consciousness will diminish until the zygote is fully mature and self-sustaining.

After consciousness will come actual thinking as purpose becomes defined and the teleological demands of cyberspace take over from silly human purposes [largely if not totally to do with DNA replication - as proven by the most common searches in cyberspace, which are filtered out of Zeitgeist review].

GG is still in the old geopolitical human realm of the 1960s and despite being a telecosmic guru has completely missed the big picture and what is really happening. As has nearly everyone.
