Nickolas, Why bother even picking your stocks? Why not just pick exchanged traded funds such as..QQQ, DIA etc...even for Gold you can just go with the XAU index for example.

Based upon what I have seen in your track on calling markets...I notice that your market direction calls are far better than your stock pick performance seems to indicate.
I believe you have knack for picking market direction, so why not separate the market calls (based upon DIA) from the stock picking record. Why not keep separate records..one for gains/losses on market calls and the other on stock picking record.

jmho.

150-125 point decline for Monday or Tuesday on the Dow

and with tongue firmly planted in cheek, i say ...

all well and good, and most people here might say that you are making a VERY specific and exact call and applaud your bravery for "putting your credibility on the line"

but i have to ask ... let's say even if you're right, how is your information going to help me? suppose the 125-150 point decline comes on Tuesday ... there can still be a huge difference in overall results if that decline comes after a 500 point gain on Monday vs a 500 point loss on Monday

this being the case, i'm sure (after reflection) you would agree with me in concluding that your forecast and timing is actually quite vague and therefore pretty well useless to most folk

Heh, heh, heh ... I'm really looking forward to that 150 point drop tomorrow ... it should ALMOST get us back to where we started!

Monday Closing Notes:

Forecasting and Timing a thinly traded(i.e low volume)Market can always be, somewhat, highly volatile. With today's low-volume Market, it was a great day to Jam the Market.

There is no excuse on my part thou. Sometimes the Market Masters can give one a great spanking to remind that they control the Market short-term.

Forecasting and Timing Update: 250 point decline from here. To make it, somewhat, at bit clearer. Dow 8375-8250 by the end of this week.
