That's wild. I especially like the "Slapshot" transaction. It shows what you can do if you have a small group of execs smugly handling billions, knowing there is no oversight from Congress, and only encouragement from the administration and their selection of "kinder and gentler" SEC commissioner.

What's more interesting is the continued success in keeping the rest of the 800 offshore accounts secret, even from Congressional inquiry -- there must be funds transfers out there that makes this look like pocket chage.

While a million stockholders, 80,000 employees and various VPs of Enron, Citi, JP Morgan and Chase can be sacrificed, and Anderson Consulting can be allowed to be completely destroyed, there are still obviously even more powerful players that must be kept out of the news.
