Luke in Star Wars was fighting the dark side. It's hard for me to understand why he did what he did on the dark side. In broad daylight with a plastic gun robbing a jewelry store, a recipe for disaster. The article said "he threatened the owner with the gun, and when he dropped his guard" makes me think he thought twice and decided to reverse his actions. For all we know he could have been shot in the back while running out the door. The article said "multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body". I would ask how many times would you have to shoot a man with a plastic gun.

I would love to see the video surveillance tape for the facts. Until all the facts are known, my judgement is reserved.
