I have a DELL and an HP. Believe it or not, the HP is much more reliable.

I still say Dell is the best quality of those out there. Who else can it be, really.... (dogpaq?) Most of the failures are likely at the component level/sourcing vs. the assembly process in Ausin, is my guess. I do have one Dell PC (a pentium II) with a video card problem, it just started acting funkily one day... <gg>

So, you are using a PII with a cable modem... thats what my downstairs system is with the problem... its a celeron I think with 512memory so plenty of memory but not enough processing power it seems to me... I think the internet is slow when I use that machine... you feel your PII is speedy or you don't really care about speed?
