Sure didn't sound like it in To Kill A Mockingbird and that's an American classic. Are you saying that story is an inaccurate depiction of life for the black man in the south. Remember Atticus Finch stood alone to fight for fair justice for a black man, alone, all forces worked against him, and he lost in the end. Ms. Harper depicts an innocent Black man convicted by an all white jury. Are you saying that was that uncommon in the south? lol
