Actually, Hitler did in his book MEIN KAMPF. However, Germany in 19933 was in such a deep depression, that everyone in Germany was focused on poverty, not racism; and like any good politician, Hitler focused on the message that would get him elected. You are precisely correct on this; Hitler was elected by a free vote of the people because they had been promised the greener grass of a better economy. Sound familiar? It should. After all, "It's the Economy, Stupid". It is human nature that people who have it drilled into their heads that a leader can make their economic circumstances better, will want to elect that leader. This will hold, even though said leader has no control over the economy.
