You are certainly the coward, my friend, afraid and unable to face facts. You claim concern and wish others into the pool on your behalf, but have neither the stomach nor the integrity to go there yourself, proving yourself a hypocrite. Yet you personally profit from the result. There is certainly a war on America - Washington against the citizenry. The terrorists are only bit players. Take a look at where your paycheck comes from, and ask others their opinion of why you believe as you do. Your epithets give you away: "POS" is the intellectual level you respond to "Personal power" is what you fear you'll lose without recycled sycophant arguments supplied by hate-radio. "Tyrants" is what you're happy with in Washington, preferrably punishing a mythical composite enemy, part domestic and part foreign, and reinforcing the fascist state you admire, raising DOD expenditures and worldwide domination, hopefully creating an unending flow of contracts to yourself. I just mistakenly assigned another poster some small part of your imagined worldview, which he thought was an insult, and rightfully so. Most of those along the entire length of the political spectrum find you embarassing. "Private Gain" is something you refuse to acknowledge and the key to exposing your hypocracy. You are unable to counter the emerging facts of the past several decades, the obvious lies of DOD and Bush courtiers. Sure, the rest of government lies too, it's human nature, and will always increase if they aren't exposed. The DOD/Industrial combine is the worst, since the result is not just economic disaster but the destruction of democracy. If we can step aside from answering your insults for a moment, here is a serious question: What do you think will become of the US if our moral reputation is further destroyed by reckless military attacks? Even the most rabid will have to soon admit it is clear we are not invulnerable. 9/11 was just a calibrated exercise. Radioactive and biological plagues can decimate our society, if enough "undeterrables" are fanned into action. Even with an unlimited military budget and secret police in every city on the planet, we would quickly be a failed state. The serious question before us, with your POV, aren't the Washington lies which we already know about, or the ideological arguments, both real and phony. The serious question by everyone of any stripe is : Do you believe US citizens will be safer with the kind of WWII/Gulf War overwhelming military force against any enemies? Rumsfeld stated clearly and honestly that suicide terrorists are "undeterrable". Even the best liar in the administration has admitted the critical fact. OBL's dream is for the US not to stop with Afghanistan but to use overwhelming lethal force worldwide to cause millions of recruits to flood training camps, and from there to the US and around the world. This is a dream consistent with the goals of those who want immediate US world military domination, regardless of the consequences to US citizens. Any policies of lethal force that undermine US moral authority are a clear and present danger to the safety of Americans. The issues of Bush partners' profiteering and the administration's failure to answer to that are only further evidence of corruption.
