No more than attacking Iraq from Saudi Arabian air bases. In fact, the latter was worse because it started the whole mess. Let me make sure I understand. You're suggesting that the Gulf War "started" the process that resulted in 9/11? My God....do they have tv in Arkansas? For years, OBL has complained that Americans violated/despoiled Mecca by using airbases in Saudi Arabia as launching sites for attacks on Iraq. This is not new news but rather very old news.
