webx was pitched out as an investment.., jorj gave his opinion of the stock based on his trading metric, tuck popped in to say he covered his short and i pointed to the webx thread as the place to further dissect whatever the merits of the company. This is where you and I differ. If I mention a particular company and it happens to be one that you know rather well, I'd like to hear what your argument is pro or con regardless of whether or not I agree with it. I wouldn't care what thread I was on. If it was totally OT for the particular thread I'd take the discussion elsewhere. Are discussions about stocks OT here? one really needn't call people fools if they happen to disagree with a stock position.... You have misinterpreted that remark. Maybe it doesn't matter to you that you have, but you have. I didn't call anyone on this thread a fool for disagreeing with me. I was actually hoping someone would come up with something that was a real meaty negative about the company. Although I follow the company closely, there might be someone out there who knows something I don't. If that's the case I'd like to hear it. Someone is acting like a "fool" when you mention something as a possible long term investment and then they come back to you a week later and tell you it's down (like you don't already know -g-) and try to use that as a way to discredit you.

grace can tout a WEBX type stock here if she cares to as far as I'm concerned - you don't get anywhere touting with jorjio on duty - nor are the Galapagos stock thread followers toutable, so if that is what she is doing, she is wasting byte and yes, grace with her WEBX defense sounds like a hard sell to me it is how she addresses people that I find offensive and take issue with
