Len. You said..." 1945 is a year I have arbitrarily chose.

I speak out of fairness to the people who resided in Palestine at the time. That would include Jews, Christians, Moslems and other."....

Len, I think that to be fair to all people an arbitrary date can not be picked by you or anyone. Through out history land has been won and lost because of wars or any number of reasons and for the most part land has remained with the victors. To do what you suggest would mean returning all lands to original owners from the dawn of time...that would be the only fair way and this is not possible. You do appear to have a dislike for Jews so the date you choose is understandable but not fair.

You said...." Why would we push the Serbs out of Bosnia and Iraq out of Kuwait? They both have historical claims to the land they were trying to re-claim?

That would be an inconsistency, wouldn't it?".....

Len, the Jews have historical claims to the state of Israel in the exact place where it is today, why should they not be returned to their original home land? Through out history Jewish land and wealth has been taken from them without any compensation. Should all lands and wealth taken from them by force be returned to them.?

What if the situation between the arabs/palestinians that exists today never happened would you insist that all lands and wealth taken from Jews be returned to them? After all that would be only fair don't you think so?

You asked..." Why would we push the Serbs out of Bosnia and Iraq out of Kuwait?".....

I don't know, What do you suggest? should Nato just have allowed muslims and Serbs slaughter each other and the winner just take all the land that belongs to others?

Do the people who live in Kuwait have any rights to their homes or does the land really belong to Iraq because they may have historical claims?
