I'm so glad you liked it. I just LOVE all the ways Woolf's points about the similarities between the sexes are made. In the very first section- where the fiancee talks about the Treachery of men, and then Orlando talks about the treachery of women, I just loved that. Also, when he tells Sascha that she must be his, because he adores her- and then he gets EXACTLY the same thing from the Archduke Harry when Orlando is a woman- I think he finally gets that being adored doesn't automatically let the adorer own you. Just an excellent movie, in so many ways. The best scene, imo, is when Orlando looks in the mirror for the first time as a woman, and says "Same person.... different sex..."

Forgot to mention, I too love the soundtrack- especially that last song. I really like that last song.

Edit- do you know Dimming of the Day?

I like it very much. I think it was on the soundtrack of Big Bad Love- but it could have been one of the other movies I saw recently. Anyway, it's a great song.

This ol' house is falling down around my years
I'm drowning in a river of my tears
Where all my will is gone, you hold me sway
I need you at the dimming of the day

You pull me like the moon pulls on a tide
You know just where I keep my better side

What days have come to keep us far apart
oh broken promise of this broken heart
now all the bawly birds went away
I need you at the dimming of the day

From the night you're only what I want
On one night you could be my confidant

I see you on a stream in company
Why don't you calm and ease your mind with me
I'm living for the night would steal away
I need you at the dimming of the day
Yes, I need you at the dimming of the day
