(though still of breeding age, your mellencamp lyric reminded me of this...)

:)

Breaking rocks in the hot sun
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won
I needed money cause I had none
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won

I miss my baby and I feel so bad
I guess my race is run
Well she's the best girl that I've ever had
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won

Robbing people with a six gun
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won

I miss my baby and the good fun
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won

I miss my baby and I feel so bad
I guess my race is run
Well she's the best girl that I've ever had
I fought the law and the law won
I fought the law and the law won

likewise.... it is the best strategy... speeding, unfortunately is something I cannot avoid. In my case, (and I am not joking here), the speed limit on highways is far more dangerous... 65 and even 75 puts me to sleep, I am far more alert driving north of 95 -g (I cannot tell you the number when I am on the open road where cops are never found, but believe me I am really alert then -gg)

I have never gotten a speeding ticket on zones less than 55/65 mph, (at least that I remember); for the most part, I have no problem with speed limits inside cities/towns, but on the highways... It is one of the stupidest laws I know of.... particularly when you consider:

1. the quality of the roads in the US (80 to 90 % are excellent)

2. the available technology in today's cars.

oh well....
