Well, I have owned a bunch of gold companies over the years, and for years, and have studied technical accounts of mining in the reports pretty carefully. Heap leaching has been around a long time but the size and economies of earthmoving machinery and crushing machinery makes this a lot more efficient that the old cyanide vat method that they were still using when I visited the old Homestake mine.

You do notice that I am hoping gold will go higher than $500. I consider this to be a bullish view.

But gold does not go away whereas oil and gas are continually used up.
