At the Corner of Hate and Free Speech My experience living in France was that clumsy attempts to limit free speech on the part of such clowns as Le Pen only gave him enormous free publicity as every journalist, TV talking head, and MRAP idiot (Mouvement contre le Racisme et pour l'amitié entre les peuples) piled on the stories. Not exactly the desired goal... though many there simply see such things as a form of harmless entertainment, which maybe isn't so bad a philosophy after all. I do find the French Parti Communiste's continued use of the hammer and sickle as their icon almost as revolting as a swastika, communism has more than made up for quality in quantity of innocent people murdered during the 20'th century.
