Gore's problem is very simple... he took some time off to re-invent himself and find himself... after all this time, it dawned on him that he has no clue about who or what he is and that his demohack party has no political basis or position to defend... who knows, maybe he'll see the light and join the GOP... stranger things have happened... all I know is we wouldn't have had all these problems if Strom Thurmond won the Presidency in 1948...

That's a possibility (where do I send my contribution?).

What the Democrats are GUARANTEED to have in 2004 is the left wing's version of Barry Goldwater. He'll excite the base, and get about 38% of the vote.

The Dems don't have to worry about winning power for a long, long time. Ashcroft. along with the Republican party, are even rounding on their last weapon: vote fabrication.

Interesting article in the most recent National Review about the South Dakota heist of 2002. Johnson should be expelled by the Senate, and S. Dakota forced to hold a new election. The contempt of McAuliffe and his party for the Constitution, the electoral process, and America in general has never been more clearly shown...
